SJMSL Rounds the Home Stretch

With (10) weeks remaining in the SJMSL regular season, the time has come for teams to make their bids to the top of the table.  With Haddon Twp.’s much needed win this past week, they have unseated the formidable Deptford B team from what looked like a sure run at the title.  Haddon Twp. now sits with a (1) point lead over Deptford B, with a game in hand to boot.  East Greenwich has also made a major push to move out of the relegation area all the way into 3rd place of the top flight.  Cherry Hill F.C. and Berlin Boro SC are both in near danger of relegation.

In the lower flights, Glassboro has continued to show dominance in the National Division, posting a league high of 95 goals for.  Clayton currently sits in 2nd with Lumberton right on their heals.  Deptford and Laurel Springs both sit in the relegation area.  Deptford C (Continental) and Winslow Classics (Global) have also made it known that they are making a push to promote, posting the league high of 53 points.  Voorhees B sits in 2nd in the Continental and is likely to promote with Deptford C to the National Division this fall.  Voorhees and Medford both sit in the relegation zone.  Willingboro FC also gets a nod as they are sitting well into 2nd place in the Global Division and are likely to promote as well.
